How does AI food logging work?
FitmAI Premium can estimate calories and macros for you — type in the food name and serving size, or take a photo of your meal, and it sends just that to an AI model, never your name, email, or any other identifying information. On the free tier you can still log any food by entering the macros yourself, or by duplicating an item you've logged before.
What does FitmAI do with my Apple Health data?
If you grant Health access, FitmAI reads steps, active energy, sleep, workouts, water intake, weight, and waist circumference to power your dashboards, and writes back the water intake, weight, and waist circumference you log. This stays between your device and Apple Health — FitmAI's servers never receive raw Health data.
Does FitmAI track me?
FitmAI doesn't use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. It does record anonymous feature-usage and crash diagnostics tagged only with a random identifier generated on your device — never your name, email, or Apple ID. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Is there a limit to how much I can use the AI Coach?
Premium includes a generous daily allowance of up to 20 AI Coach messages, resetting each day — plenty for real back-and-forth coaching conversations. It's there to keep the service running smoothly for everyone, not to cut you off mid-conversation.
How do I restore my Premium subscription?
Open Profile in FitmAI and look for "Restore Purchases." This re-checks your Apple ID's purchase history and restores your entitlement — useful after reinstalling the app or setting up a new device.
How do subscriptions work?
FitmAI Premium is billed and managed entirely by Apple through the App Store, either monthly or annually. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID account settings — FitmAI never sees your payment details.
I have a promo or referral code — where do I enter it?
On the Premium screen, tap "Have a promo code?" and enter it there. Codes are tied to your anonymous device identifier, not your identity.
Does the Apple Watch app work on its own?
The FitmAI watchOS app is a companion to the iPhone app and syncs your workout data between the two via Apple's WatchConnectivity.
How do I delete my data?
FitmAI doesn't have an account on our servers — everything lives on your device. Delete the app to permanently erase all locally stored data (profile, logs, goals, and measurements); reinstalling starts fresh with a new anonymous identifier.
