How are the wallpapers actually made?
Every wallpaper is rendered on your iPhone by an algorithm — there are no stock photos and no AI image API involved, and Wallgorithm makes no network call of any kind to generate one. Each image is a hand-picked seed, and the same seed always renders the exact same result.
What are the different styles?
Wallgorithm has five generative style families — Aurora, Mesh, Noise Field, Geometric, and Waves — each its own algorithm rather than a filter applied to the others. Wallpapers are organized into six curated packs across those styles.
What's free, and what do I have to pay for?
Aurora Vol. 1 and Ocean Waves — 16 wallpapers — are free forever. The other four packs (Midnight Mesh, Noise Field Vol. 1, Geometric Dreams, and Sunset Waves Vol. 2) unlock together with a single one-time purchase: Unlock All Wallpapers, $3.99. There's no subscription and no ads.
I already bought Unlock All Wallpapers — how do I restore it?
Open Settings in Wallgorithm and tap “Restore Purchases.” This re-checks your Apple ID's purchase history and unlocks every pack again, no repurchase needed — useful after reinstalling the app or setting up a new device.
How do I save a wallpaper?
Open any wallpaper you own and tap Save — it's written to your Photos library at full resolution. The first time, iOS will ask for permission; Wallgorithm only requests add-only access, so it can add photos but never read or browse the rest of your library.
How do I actually set it as my lock screen or home screen?
iOS doesn't give apps a way to set your wallpaper directly, so after you save an image, Wallgorithm shows step-by-step instructions and a link straight into the right Settings screen — you just pick the photo you saved from there.
How do Favorites work?
Tap the heart on any wallpaper to save it to Favorites, and revisit your picks any time from the Favorites tab.
Does Wallgorithm collect my data?
No. There are no accounts, no backend server, and no analytics or advertising SDKs of any kind — Wallgorithm doesn't collect any data about you. The only network activity in the app at all is the App Store purchase, which is handled entirely by Apple.
